The last time we met, we were discussing the contents of the Ark of the Covenent. We will finish that discussion and begin discussing messianic prophecies found in the Book of Exodus.

Contents of the Ark
1. Manna – Jesus became our bread from heaven (John 6:38)
1. 2, Aaron’s Staff – Jesus came back to life like Aaron’s staff. (John 11:15-26; 1 Corinthians 15:20.)
2. The Ten Commandments - foretelling of this righteousness that we may achieve apart from the Law through our faith in Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:20-22)
The Priesthood – only the high priest approaches God
The substitutionary death of Christ our High Priest changes that, allowing us all to approach God through Jesus Christ. (Matthew 27:51; Hebrews 9:15, 10:19-23
